Labor option that unions and productivity

Aims to enhance scientific research and exchange of experience in research, Faculty of Business Administration held meetings periodically Journal club, while reporting is done from 13h00-14h30 dated 26/10/2015. The theme of the meetings was: "Labor option that unions and productivity: An empirical analysis using firm-level Japanese data", who perform the report is Pham Tien Thanh.

The paper examines the role of labor unions against the efficiency of businesses in terms of labor productivity perspective and interests of enterprises. Posts are made for cases of 4000 small and medium-sized enterprises in Japan under the field of manufacturing and non-manufacturing. Findings of the article shows that unions have promoted effective impact in business, contributing to increased labor productivity, higher wages. Post also shows a reduction in the corporate labor unions have less than firms without unions. Since then, in order to increase business efficiency, the solution is to have made the harmony between management and unions.
