The International Business major of Ton Duc Thang University is integrated with sharing sessions and workshops of international experts to provide opportunities for students to access the current relevant issues as well as to improve English proficiency. In addition, these extracurricular activities give lots of inspirations for students to nurture passions for learning, start-up, entrepreneurship and success.
On April 11th 2018, International Business students had the opportunity to listen to the speakers from the United States in the collaborative program between the Faculty of Business Administration, TDTU and REI Vietnam – a leading institution in the field of international education which aims at promoting high-quality human resources training in all areas and industries (reivietnam.org).
The content of the session focused on the topic entitled: “Developing and Creating a Business from an Idea”. At the session, Mr. Del Goehner, who has many years of experience in the field of corporate governance in the United States, has shared interesting and exciting information and real stories about the trends of a “flattening world”, business opportunities brought about by globalization and Industrial Revolution 4.0, successful philosophies in raising business ideas, creating financial resources, running business and sharing values for the community, etc. This content has been conveyed by the speakers through exciting interactive activities as well as assumed situations and has received enthusiastic participation from the students.
