At the event, students had the opportunity to listen to in-depth sharing from speaker Dr. Tan Wee Kwan (Dr. Albert Tan) – Director of the Online MBA Academic Program at the Asian Institute of Management and a collaborating researcher of the Faculty. Through practical analysis and visual examples, the speaker helped participants understand how elements within the supply chain interact from a Systems Thinking perspective, thereby supporting the development of long-term ESG strategies for businesses. The session covered key concepts including identifying feedback loops, building Causal Loop Diagrams (CLDs), analyzing common system traps, and applying System Dynamics to simulate scenarios and support strategic planning and decision-making.
