On 4thJune 2015, Ton Duc Thang University celebrated a grand opening ceremony for the 2nd International Conference on Finance and Economics 2015 (ICFE 2015).
This conference schedules from 4th to 6thJune 2015 with the participation of many scholars, enterprises, researchers from universities, institutes, and businesses inside and outside Vietnam. Especially, ICFE 2015 welcomed leading experts in Finance and Economics from many world-recognized universities, such as Louisiana State University (the United States), University of Economics in Prague, Tomas Bata University in Zlín (Czech Republic), Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Yokohama National University (Japan), Corvinus University of Budapest (Hungary), Nanhua University, Chinese Culture University, Feng Chia University, National Penghu University, Lunghwa University of Science and Technology (Taiwan), Taylor’s University (Malaysia), Business and Hotel Management School (Switzerland), etc.
ICFE 2015 is a great opportunity for researchers and scientists to update information and share their papers in the field of Marketing Management, International Business, Hotel and Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Economics, Finance and Accounting, as well as share experience, plans and implementation of policies on economic development, economic crisis tackling, ect. Besides, ICFE 2015 is also considered as a connection for Vietnamese universities and enterprises with other universities and researchers in different parts of the world so as to undertake researches and new management approaches, then apply these into real life to effectively manage and operate businesses.
Having a welcome speech at the grand opening, President of Ton Duc Thang University – Prof. Le Vinh Danh highly assessed the quality of scientific papers; also sent a thankful message to distinguished guests for their participation and contribution. Moreover, he also stressed that TDTU’s primary objective is to promote international cooperation and exchange on scientific advance with the purpose of enhancing the quality of research, increasing international publications, together with meeting other criteria of international ranking systems.
After the successful of ICFE 2014, TDTU’s organization of ICFE 2015 seems to be a base for TDTU to found an international magazine in Finance and Economics; then gradually become a research university. ICFE 2016 is projected to organize at a university in Europe.
