Between March 21 and March 25, 2022, The Department of International Business, The Faculty of Business Administration cooperated with Vietnam Logistics and Aviation School (VILAS) in order to organize a webinar series to share knowledge and experience in Logistics as well as the Import and Export practices. The topics in the event were as follows: “Collecting goods for AEON retailers”, “Starting innovative ideas”, “3PLs solution in Logistics: Garment/textile field”, “Design and warehouse solutions for Electronics companies”, and “Logistics in e-commerce business”. The webinar has received a lot of attention and participation from international business students.
The Faculty was honored to have the attendance of Ms. Dang Minh Truc - Customer Service Manager of OOCL Logistics; Mr. Nguyen Tam Thanh - Financial Director of ONEX Logistics and Mr. Pham Huong Linh - Logistics Solution Manager of A.P. Moller – Maersk, etc.
During the webinar, the speakers provided practical knowledge of how AEON retail stores collect their goods from many different places. In addition, the speaker also delivered insights into analyzing situations and raising related problems when cooperating with 3PLs in this field. Noticeably, the speaker also offered orientations and appropriate solutions for warehouse design in the field of e-commerce; taught students how to come up with many ideas for business innovation and how to turn these ideas into reality.
In the program, International Business students asked questions confidently about the collection of retail goods, 3PLs solutions in Logistics services, etc. Thanks to the enthusiasm and passionate discussion between speakers and International Business students, they could have the chance to enhance their knowledge and experience of Logistics, which is critical in helping students to orientate themselves towards their future career. The Faculty of Business Administration hopes to cooperate with VILAS in upcoming activities and events with the aim of equipping students with necessary knowledge and skills.
