PO1: Graduate will demonstrate high-level of professionalism, a profound expertise, ethical and social responsibility, collective spirit and devotion in serving the national socio-economic development as well as hospitality industry and well-prepared for global integration process.

PO2: Graduates will become professional managers in international level hospitality corporations with extensive professional skills, sense of discipline, professional attitude: able to use foreign language, especially English fluently to work independently and collaboratively as a team under high pressure and competitive environment; demonstrate creative and critical thinking in analyzing and evaluating to handle the assigned works flexibly and effectively.

PO3: Graduates will be able to implement applied sciences to carry out business research independently in hospitality property business activities to achieve positive changes as well as to pursue higher-level international education.

General knowledge

 

Basic knowledge on politics, natural sciences and social sciences, knowledge on foreign language and informatics

ELO1: Apply appropriate knowledge of natural and social sciences and political theory to identify and address issues and problems in hospitality business as well as related branches in terms of tourism properly and systematically

ELO2:  Advance computer skills by achieving MOS international certificate at minimum 750 points and able to use some world-wide common PMS such as OPERA, LANDMARK, IHOTELIER, to work professionally in hospitality business environment.

ELO3: Perform high-level of English proficiency, especially professional English with minimum entry level of IELTS 5.0 and 6.0 for graduation, or other equivalent certificates; highly recommended to know another sub-language.

Special knowledge 

Fundamental knowledge on business administration; professional knowledge and information about marketing

ELO4: Apply professional knowledge and skills, both economics and management, as well as other related sciences in planning and running business and operation of hospitality properties systematically and effectively.

 

Professional skills

Develop competently, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage and Front Office skills; analyze financial report; business status; design  business plans/ projects

ELO5: Demonstrate three professional skills, including Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Front Office.

ELO6: Analyze financial reports, business reports, business status, service quality, competitors, market trends, property practical issues and studies in hospitality industry.

ELO7: Design simple business plans/ projects related to hospitality industry

Generic skills

Involving the use of logical, intuitive and creative thinking; communication and team-working skills

ELO8: Perfom effectiveness in communication, teamwork, negotiation as well as time and resources management to tackle all situations in hospitality industry and related fields.

ELO9: Demonstrate creative thinking to initially participate in the process of planning, organizing, evaluating business as well as start-up in hospitality industry. Enable to follow higher education and research independently.
