PhD program, Faculty of Business Administration
- OVERVIEW
PhD program provides doctoral candidates (DCAN) diverse backgrounds for business management, academic research, and industry and government institutions. The objective is to educate DCANs strong theoretical knowledge base, methodological skills, and development of professional practices for success in today’s dynamic academic and industrial environments. In addition, courses are designed by consulting from the world’s top universities as so DCANs can acquire the latest advancement in the field. In terms of ensuring the quality of PhD program, DCANs are required to publish their research in ISI/Scopus-based journals.

- ENTRY REQUIRMENTS
TDTD admits applicants on the basis of their demonstrated capacity to conduct independent research. Check that you are eligible to apply for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD):
- Masters by Research/ Coursework or Bachelor degree - with High Distinction
- Being the author of 01 peer-review article in the field of business administration for 36 months up to the date of applying for admission or experienced researchers.
- Candidates are required to satisfy the University' English entry requirement for graduate courses within 24 months of the application date.
Prospective Candidates:
Bachelor’s degree candidates:
o Candidates must complete additional modules in the Master of Business Administration program at least 30 credits.
o Candidates are required to earn at least 120 credits.
Master's degree candidates:
o Candidates who hold a master's degree that did not relate to the business administration discipline are required to study additional modules in the field of their study and research.
o Candidates who hold a master's degree in business administration continue their PhD studies.
o Candidates are required to earn at least 95 credits.

Notes: Prospective PhD Candidates without a master’s degree in business need to take additional courses.
- PROGRAM STRUCTURE
- Compulsory courses: 09 credits
- Elective courses: 06 credits
- Term paper: 04 credits
- Special topics: 06 credits, including 03 topics:
- Special Topic 1: 02 credits
- Special Topic 2: 02 credits
- Special Topic 3: 02 credits
- Published at least 01 ISI/Scopus-based journal article
- PhD Dissertation: 70 credits
