HOSPITALITY TALKSHOW: “THE ORIENTATION OF CAREER FOR HOSPITALITY STUDENTS”
On 26th October 2016, at the 6B hall in Ton Duc Thang University, The Talkshow “The orientation of career for hospitality students” was taken place at 14:00.
There were many guests - authorizes on hospitality:
- Mr. Mai Xuan Bac- The CEO of Dat Vuong- Real Estate Investment Consultant Company
- Mr. Chu Hong Minh- The CEO of Vietnam Hospitality Network- The Founder of Hospitality Network Project.
- Mr. Dinh Duc Minh- The CEO of Boatman Vietnam Human Resources Solution.
- Miss Hoang Yen- A former student of Hospitality in Switzerland, The CEO of a restaurant chain called “En Tea House and Restaurant”
We were also welcome the appearance of freshman and sophomores of Hospitality from Ton Duc Thang University.
Firstly, Mr. Chu Hong Minh shared about “Overview of Tourism and Hospitality Industry” for our students to be confident to develop an optimal career project for themselves by some suggested question from Mr. Chu: “Who are you? What is your career target? How do you know about Tourism and Hospitality Industry in Vietnam nowadays? Responding to him, our students bravely presented their knowledge about Tourism and Hospitality and gave to him many questions to be directly answered.
In the next part of the Talkshow, the 6B hall was becoming more and more animated with a variety of questions from other students to our four guests. Many questions about management and practical skills of Hospitality, employment prospects, ways to apply for a position in a hotel or restaurant, experiences or difficulties we might get that were all answers clearly by specialists.
At the end of the Talkshow, MSc. Truong Nu To Giang gave to guests some bouquets to thank for their appearance and sharings.
The Talkshow brought to our student's valuable knowledge and orientations for their future decisions.
