In the morning of March 9, 2022, the Faculty of Business Administration cooperated with the Increti Institute, the University Department and Taylor's University (TU) to successfully organize an online seminar "Introduction to the campus rotation program 2, 5 + 1.5 Hospitality industry", in order to help students study in phase 2 in the partner’s school, explain the study program, transfer credits, and advise procedures, admission process, visa application, therefore making a study plan in an efficient way.
The discussion was attended by Dr. Joaquim Dias Soeiro – Dean of Hospitality, Tourism and Events Faculty; Dr. Ruth Sabina Francis – Head of Hospitality Department; Ms. Sumana – Head of International Cooperation Department; Mr. Pee - in charge of international students and teachers, lecturers and students of 2018-2022 who are studying the 2.5+1.5 campus rotation program in hospitality industry.
During the online meeting, Dr. Joaquim Dias Soerio gave a general introduction about Taylors University along with its outstanding achievements in recent years. Dr Ruth Sabina Francis, in charge of the hospitality industry training program, shares information about some major in hospitality industry and TU including international hotel groups so that students have an overview of phase 2 at TU and career opportunities after graduating with a TU bachelor's degree. In addition, the TU representatives also guide students with necessary information about procedures, admission processes, and visa applications for the transition period.
Student Ho Thi Thanh Tam - transferring in August 2021 also participated in the program and shared her experience when she was enthusiastically supported by teachers at TU in finding a quarantine hotel, picking up at the airport, or advice and support in the process of studying online combined with offline at TU last semester.
Useful information from TU representatives about the study program and the practical experiences of students studying at TU have contributed to motivating the students to keep trying their best in their study and improve themselves to meet the criteria and be ready for the 2nd stage at TU.
