TDTU Faculty of Business Administration Organizes “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” at Phi Lai Ancestral Pagoda in An Giang, Spreading Care and Community Responsibility
On September 19, 2026, at Phi Lai Ancestral Pagoda (An Giang), the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU), in collaboration with Chi Lang Ward Youth Union, organized the “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2026” program, bringing a warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival to local children while spreading the spirit of sharing and community responsibility.
The program began with a solemn welcoming ceremony, creating a warm and respectful atmosphere from the very beginning. This was followed by the welcoming and introduction of distinguished guests, including representatives of the Ward Party Committee, the Ward Youth Union, the FBA Youth Union Executive Committee, sponsors, benefactors, and donors, as well as FBA lecturers and students and more than 800 local children.
The presence and support of the participating delegates, organizations, and individuals reflected the spirit of solidarity, sharing, and community responsibility among the university, the religious institution, and the local community. Their collective support helped create a warmer, more meaningful, and memorable Mid-Autumn Festival for the children.

Following the ceremonial activities, a series of performances by Sac Viet Dance Troupe, featuring the vibrant colors and joyful spirit of the Mid-Autumn Festival, created an exciting and intimate atmosphere for the celebration. As part of the program, the Organizing Committee presented more than 1,000 gift packages to local children, conveying warm wishes and encouragement for them to continue studying hard and behaving well.
The festive atmosphere continued with the lantern release, lively lion dance performances, and a spectacular fireworks display, bringing the celebration to a memorable close and leaving the children with cherished memories of this year’s Mid-Autumn Festival.
Beyond the significance of a festive celebration, “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2026” also reflects FBA’s commitment to integrating education with social responsibility. Through their direct involvement in organizing and serving the community, students had the opportunity to apply their teamwork, event organization, and coordination skills while gaining a deeper understanding of the lives and needs of the local community. These practical experiences contribute to nurturing a strong sense of responsibility, compassion, and professional character among future business leaders.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Thanh Phuoc, Deputy Secretary of the TDTU Youth Union and Secretary of the FBA Youth Union, shared: “Through the ‘Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2026’ program, we hope to provide students not only with a meaningful lesson about sharing with the community, but also with an opportunity to present scholarships and meaningful gifts to children facing difficult circumstances and striving to overcome challenges in life.”
The “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” program concluded in a warm atmosphere, leaving meaningful impressions on the children, lecturers, students, and participating organizations and individuals. The program also received attention and positive recognition from local media agencies and An Giang authorities, helping spread the positive values of community engagement to a wider audience.
