On October 9, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) – Ton Duc Thang University, in collaboration with its partners and supporting units, successfully organized an academic seminar titled “Decisions That Will Impact Your Career Path.”
The seminar took place in an enthusiastic, open, and inspiring atmosphere, attracting strong participation from students. Through sincere sharing, real-life stories, and insightful lessons from the guest speakers, students gained a clearer understanding of how personal decisions play a crucial role in shaping one’s career and entrepreneurial journey.
The event featured two distinguished guest speakers:
• Mr. Nguyễn Đình Huy – Executive Creative Director, Head of Planning at Circus Digital
• Mr. Nguyễn Trần Gia Hưng – Founder & CEO of Empire Central
Opening the seminar, Mr. Nguyễn Đình Huy shared his bold journey of transformation—from an Information Technology student to a leading creative executive at one of Vietnam’s top agencies. He emphasized that “A career is not shaped by luck, but by the courage to make changes and step out of your comfort zone.” According to him, every decision, no matter how small, when made with persistence and a willingness to learn, can open new doors in one’s career path.
Following that, Mr. Nguyễn Trần Gia Hưng delivered an inspiring entrepreneurial story—from selling niche products to building a sustainable community of passion. He shared his philosophy of “Try – Fail – Learn – Retry,” highlighting that failure is not the end but a stepping stone to growth. He encouraged students: “Understand your product, empathize with your customers, and stay consistent with your long-term strategy—because true success does not come from short-term gains.”
The seminar concluded in an engaging discussion session, where students had the opportunity to ask questions, exchange perspectives, and receive valuable advice for their future career journeys.
