The Academic Seminar themed “Multi-sited Ethnography in Management Research” took place on September 3, 2025, and successfully concluded with valuable insights and meaningful exchanges for lecturers and learners of Facculty of Bussiness Administration (FBA), Ton Duc Thang University. The event was honored to welcome Prof. Dr. Arthur Nguyen, National Professor of Management Sciences in France, from the Rouen Business School (IAE de Rouen), University of Rouen Normandy.

Throughout the seminar, Prof. Nguyen shared his international research experiences and highlighted the application of the multi-sited ethnography method in management science. His presentation not only broadened participants’ understanding of this qualitative approach but also provided practical perspectives on how it can be applied in the Vietnamese business context as well as in international settings.
The seminar atmosphere was vibrant, interactive, and inspiring. Beyond the keynote presentation, Prof. Nguyen spent ample time engaging in discussions with lecturers, MBA students, and undergraduates. Many questions were raised, ranging from the feasibility of ethnography in business environments to its potential extension across different fields of business administration. These exchanges fostered an open, collegial, and stimulating academic environment.
