Academic Sharing Session on “Meaningful Work” with Dr. Tan Kim Lim at TDTU

On the afternoon of September 16, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized an academic sharing session titled “Meaningful Work – What Is It and How Important Is It?” with the participation of Dr. Tan Kim Lim, the Adjunct Professor of the Faculty. The event welcomed the participation of faculty members and student researchers, offering an open and inspiring academic environment for knowledge exchange.

During the session, Dr. Tan Kim Lim – senior lecturer at James Cook University (Singapore), ranked among the Top 401–500 universities worldwide by Times Higher Education 2025, a respected scholar with high-impact publications and serves in editorial roles for several Scopus- and WoS-indexed journals – delivered thought-provoking insights into the concept of meaningful work. His presentation highlighted key definitions, historical development, measurement approaches, and determinants of meaningful work, drawing from his internationally recognized publications in Scopus- and WoS-indexed journals.

The sharing session not only enriched participants with updated academic perspectives but also demonstrated the strong international collaboration of TDTU’s Faculty of Business Administration. It reaffirmed the Faculty’s commitment to providing students with opportunities to engage with global scholars, thereby preparing them for careers and research pathways with international reach.
