Business Administration Students – Hospitality Management Students Explore A Hotel Tour - Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh

On December 3, 2025, students majoring in Business Administration, specializing in Restaurant and Hotel Management at the Khanh Hoa Campus of Ton Duc Thang University, participated in a field trip to Radisson Blu Resort Cam Ranh. The activity aimed to enhance career-oriented experiences and provide students with exposure to the operational environment of an internationally standardized resort.

As part of the program, the student delegation was welcomed by representatives of the resort’s specialized departments and introduced to an overview of its facilities, including guest rooms, the beachfront swimming pool area, the conference center, and key service outlets such as Sunrise Ocean Restaurant, Blu Lobster Restaurant, Lobby Bar, and Blu Wellness Spa. This provided students with an opportunity to directly observe the spatial organization of service areas and operational standards in the hospitality and resort industry.

The field trip allowed students to explore the workflow of various functional departments. At the Front Office, students learned about the guest check-in process and basic request-handling procedures. In the Housekeeping department, they were introduced to room sanitation standards, 5-star room setup procedures, and operational support equipment. In the F&B area, students observed table setup procedures, buffet operations at Sunrise Ocean Restaurant, and banquet arrangements in the conference facilities.

The activity also helped students gain a clearer understanding of professional workplace demeanor, service mindset, and interdepartmental coordination in an upscale hotel environment. Practical insights such as kitchen operations, management of recreational areas including pools and spa, and conference organization provided an in-depth perspective on the operations of a large-scale resort.

The field trip contributed to strengthening students’ professional knowledge, bridging theory with practice, and deepening their understanding of industry expectations in Restaurant and Hotel Management. This is a practical activity aligned with the Faculty of Business Administration’s training orientation toward real-world learning at Ton Duc Thang University.
