On 12th and 13th April 2023, the third and final- year students of Hospitality Management had an opportunity to visit The Reverie Saigon Hotel (22-36 Nguyen Hue Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City).
When coming to The Reverie Saigon, the students were greatly expanded their knowledge’s after meeting with Ms Nguyen Hong Tham – Human Resource Director and some sharing experiences from Mr. Tran Khanh Tam – Recruitment specialist. Students were guided to visit all areas of operations in the hotel such as: the gym, spa, hotel rooms, Long Trieu restaurant with the most talented Hong Kong chef brings the unique Cantonese culinary quintessence in Vietnam, Da Vittorio Saigon restaurant introduces the quintessence of Italian cuisine through the signature flavors from the eight-star brand Michelin worldwide and Café Cardinal is the ideal meeting place right in the heart of the hotel, where a romantic outdoor space allows diners to fully enjoy the view of downtown Saigon. Students also had the opportunity to be introduced the history of hotel development.
Through the sharing about the career development from the human resource team, the students learned more about the business models of the industry, which students can choose for their future. In addition, students received career advices as well as answers related to the selection criteria of the hotel.
After the tour, students had a great experience, along with more opportunities to improve their skills and knowledge in the hospitality industry.
