On the morning of October 24, 2025, at the International Entrepreneurship Week 2025 (IEW2025) held at neoBay, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, Assistant Dean of the Faculty, delivered a presentation titled “Vietnam Rising: Economic Outlook and Opportunities for Entrepreneurs.” Her talk provided a concise overview of Vietnam’s economic growth drivers, free trade corridors, and open entrepreneurial ecosystem.
neoBay is a large-scale innovation and entrepreneurship hub in Shanghai, established in 2015 through a partnership between Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Minhang District Government, and Shanghai Land Group. It is located within the SJTU–East China Normal University cluster in South Shanghai. IEW2025 gathered major academic partners including emlyon business school (France), Warwick Business School (UK), and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, along with investors, incubators, and a vibrant international community of faculty and students.

Continuing the spirit of academic exchange, on October 27, 2025, Ms. Hanh served as a guest lecturer at emlyon business school – Shanghai campus, teaching in the course “Modern Entrepreneurship and Disruptive Innovation.” Her session, themed “Emerging Business Trends in Vietnam’s Innovation Landscape,” explored digital business models, AI/fintech, and smart logistics through Vietnamese enterprise case studies. The class encouraged dialogue, critical thinking, and opportunities for joint internships and research between the two institutions.

As part of the trip, Ms. Hanh—representing the Faculty’s leadership—visited TDTU students undertaking their semester exchange at emlyon Shanghai (from August 28 to November 27, 2025). The visit coincided with the students’ final presentations for the In-Company Project, a practice-oriented course co-developed with partner companies. The course allows students to apply theory in real contexts, enhance critical and problem-solving skills, and strengthen cross-cultural communication—culminating in actionable recommendations for business expansion. emlyon business school is a strategic partner of TDTU Business School in delivering the Global Bachelor of Business Administration program, and the Shanghai exchange experience is an annual opportunity open to all students of the Faculty.

From the forum to the classroom, every experience reflects a shared mission: bringing the global ecosystem into the classroom and transferring classroom knowledge to real-world practice. This embodies TDTU Business School’s consistent message — internationalization is not only about sending students abroad, but also about integrating the global ecosystem into every lecture, nurturing a multicultural and practice-oriented learning environment where both students and faculty grow together within the spirit of innovation.
