Promoting the AACSB Accreditation Roadmap Through a Meeting with the Asia-Pacific Representative

On the afternoon of March 5, 2026, representatives of the Management Boards of 3 Faculties, including the Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Accounting, and Faculty of Finance and Banking, along with leaders of the Department of Testing and Quality Assessment, hosted and had a working session with Dr. Geoff Perry – Executive Vice President, Chief Membership Officer and Managing Director, Asia Pacific, at AACSB International. This is the third meeting between the leaders of the University's units and the AACSB representative, demonstrating AACSB's interest and companionship towards the University's international accreditation roadmap.

Assoc. Prof.  Pham Thi Minh Ly - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, representing the University, presented a token of appreciation to Dr. Geoff Perry during his visit and working session.

During the meeting, the representative of the Faculty of Business Administration reported in detail on the activities of the 3 Faculties and self-assessed the level of compliance with the 9 AACSB standards. The report focused on areas such as strategic orientation, training activities, scientific research, the teaching staff, and the level of engagement with the business community. Based on this, Dr. Geoff Perry provided valuable professional feedback and proposed improvement solutions, helping the Faculties to continue fulfilling requirements according to international standards. Simultaneously, he shared important information about the next steps in the AACSB accreditation roadmap that the University needs to focus on in the upcoming period.

The working session took place in an open and constructive atmosphere. Leaders of the Faculties and related units had the opportunity to directly discuss outstanding issues, thereby further clarifying the implementation direction and preparing for the next steps of the accreditation process.

AACSB is the world's leading prestigious business education accreditation organization, founded in 1916 in the United States. Currently, less than 6% of business schools globally have achieved AACSB accreditation – a standard considered the "gold standard" for training quality, scientific research, and the societal impact of business schools.
