On the afternoon of September 22, 2025, at the 5th Floor Meeting Room of the Library, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) hosted a working session and discussion between TDTU’s leadership and representatives from emlyon business school (France).

In attendance from emlyon business school were Professor William Hua Wang – Director of the Asia Pacific Branch; Mr. Joniko Cao – Head of Recruitment and Operations for Asia; and Ms. Myriam Mao – Marketing Officer for Asia.

Representing TDTU were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach – Director of the Institute for Research, Cooperation, and International Training; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly – Vice Chairwoman of the University Council, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Phung Minh Tuan – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; and PhD Candidate Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh – Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.
The session focused on discussions regarding the expansion and diversification of cooperation in training, research, and student exchange programs, promising new opportunities for collaboration in the near future.
Immediately following the meeting, TDTU and the emlyon delegation jointly organized the Opening Ceremony for freshmen enrolled in the Global Business Administration 2+2 joint program with emlyon business school, intake 2025. The ceremony welcomed two distinguished guests: Mr. Andrea Taglioni – Representative of the Consulate General of France, and Mr. Alexandre Sompheng – Secretary General of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV).
As part of the ceremony, representatives from emlyon business school also conducted an orientation session for the new students. The event marked an important milestone, launching the international academic journey of the students while reaffirming the strong commitment to cultivating high-quality human resources with global mindsets and the capacity for deep international integration.
