Topic 3: Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management, Environmental Compliance, and Innovation in Improving the Performance of Vietnamese Manufacturing Enterprises

In the third presentation, the speaker analyzed the relationships among intellectual capital, knowledge management, environmental compliance, and innovation in improving the performance of Vietnamese manufacturing enterprises. The presentation indicated that intellectual capital serves as a foundation for enterprises to develop innovation capability, while successful knowledge management functions as an operational mechanism through which knowledge is effectively acquired, shared, and utilized. Topic 4: Improving Firm Performance through Innovation: The Role of Intellectual Capital, Government Support, Knowledge Sharing, and Successful Knowledge Management

Through the fourth presentation, Dr. Truong Thi Thanh Binh further clarified the roles of intellectual capital, government support, knowledge sharing, and successful knowledge management in improving firm performance through innovation. The presentation pointed out that knowledge sharing alone does not necessarily generate innovation in the absence of an appropriate knowledge management mechanism. When knowledge is systematically stored, exploited, and applied, enterprises can transform intangible resources into new products, processes, services, and solutions. At the same time, government policies supporting innovation may serve as a lever to help enterprises reduce innovation barriers, enhance competitiveness, and expand opportunities for international integration.

The discussion session recorded numerous academic exchanges concerning the applicability of the research findings to the Vietnamese business context, particularly in relation to intangible asset management, innovation, environmental compliance, knowledge management, and sustainable development. The shared insights not only contributed to updating international research trends but also supported lecturers, graduate students, and undergraduate students in broadening their research orientations in the field of business administration.

The scientific research seminar featuring Dr. Truong Thi Thanh Binh concluded with substantial practical academic value, contributing to the dissemination of a research culture, knowledge sharing, and the promotion of academic engagement within the Faculty of Business Administration. Through the organization of in-depth research seminars, the Faculty continues to affirm its orientation toward building an open academic environment, connecting research with business practice, and contributing to the internationalization strategy of Ton Duc Thang University.
