Students majoring in Hospitality Management gain practical learning experience at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay resort

On July 9, 2026, the Faculty of Business Administration organized an educational site visit for students majoring in Restaurant and Hotel Management at Six Senses Ninh Van Bay—an internationally acclaimed luxury resort under the IHG Hotels & Resorts portfolio. Renowned for its distinctive brand philosophy, Six Senses is built upon three core pillars: sustainability, holistic wellness, and creating extraordinary guest experiences. The visit provided students with valuable opportunities to gain firsthand insights into the operations and management practices of a world-class luxury resort while bridging classroom learning with real-world hospitality experiences.

The visit was designed to strengthen the connection between academic learning and industry practice, providing students with the opportunity to experience a professional hospitality environment while gaining insights into the management and operations of an ultra-luxury resort. The program also aimed to broaden students' industry knowledge and support their career development in the tourism and hospitality sector.

During the session, students gained valuable insights into resort operations, guest experience management, human resource management, staff training and development, wellness services, sustainability initiatives, and international hospitality service standards. In particular, the discussions on Six Senses' sustainability philosophy and operational model provided students with a deeper understanding of contemporary trends in luxury hospitality management.

In addition to the knowledge-sharing session, students toured various resort facilities, including guest villas, restaurants, the spa and wellness center, the marina, and back-of-house operational areas. This hands-on experience enabled them to connect classroom knowledge with real-world practices while developing a better understanding of operational procedures and cross-departmental collaboration within an international luxury resort.

The site visit not only enriched students' learning experience but also reaffirmed the Faculty of Business Administration's commitment to industry-integrated education. Through close collaboration with leading hospitality partners, the Faculty continues to provide students with valuable experiential learning opportunities, helping them develop professional competencies, enhance global perspectives, and prepare for successful careers in the hospitality industry.
