TDTU Appoints JCUS Senior Lecturer as Adjunct Professor
On April 17th, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly hosted the Adjunct Professor Appointment Ceremony for Dr. Tan Kim Lim, Senior Lecturer at the School of Business, Law and Management, James Cook University Singapore (JCUS).
The appointment letter was honourably presented by Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau – Vice President of TDTU, with the attendance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly – Vice Chairwoman of the University Council and Dean of FBA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach – Director of the International Cooperation, Research and Training Institute (INCRETI), and Dr. Phung Minh Tuan – Vice Dean of FBA. This milestone reflects the continuously growing academic collaboration between TDTU and JCUS.
Following the ceremony, Dr. Tan Kim Lim conducted an academic seminar titled "Artificial Intelligence and HRM: Transforming People Management", which attracted the participation of more than 80 students, postgraduates, and faculty members.
The seminar provided valuable perspectives on how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping Human Resource Management (HRM), particularly in strategic decision-making and enhancing employee experience. Dr. Tan Kim Lim shared insightful research evidence and practical strategies for organizations to effectively adapt to the digital transformation of people management in the AI era.
This seminar and appointment ceremony were part of the University's 2024–2025 internationalization initiatives, affirming TDTU's commitment to academic excellence and global engagement, offering internationally aligned learning opportunities for students.
