On October 24, 2022, Faculty of Business Administration held a journal club session with the theme "Scientific research for new lecturers" with the lead of Dr. Phung Minh Tuan, Head of Department of Marketing - Assistant Dean, and lecturer of Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University.
Opening the session, Dr. Phung Minh Tuan gave an introduction about the importance of Scientific Research for a lecturer.
Dr. Phung Minh Tuan guides the lecturers on how to orient a prestigious journal in the relevant industry/field. This is also an important step in the development of future research papers. Next, Dr. Phung Minh Tuan gives orientation on how to search for topics. Choosing a topic that matches the interests and capabilities of the lecturer/researcher is extremely important because giving the right research direction will motivate the lecturer/researcher a lot in the process. Finally, Dr. Phung Minh Tuan guides the process of conducting a research paper, from choosing a topic, to determining research questions, hypotheses and research methods, to build a basic theoretical framework, collect data, process data, analyze research results, and draw conclusions.
