To enable students especially Year 3 and Year 4 students have an overview picture of Logistics industry, job opportunities in the field and working environment at leading enterprises in Logistics and Suply Chain Management, on Friday 3rd May 2019, Department of International Business collaborated with Indo Trans Logistics Corporation (ITL) to organize a career talk entitled: “Your Future in Logistics” attracting lots of interest from International Business students.
The event welcomed ITL management including:
- Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thuc – HR Director
- Mr. Nguyen Thanh Van – Deputy Head of Contract Logistics
- Mr. Pham Van Tuyen – General Director of Speedlink, Techub Director of ITL Corporation
Representatives from Faculty of Business Administration:
- Dr. Pham Thi Ngan – Head, Department of International Business
- Msc. Le Duc Nha – Assistant to the Dean, Faculty of Business Administration
- Mr. Tran Chi Dung – Advisory Board Committee of FIATA Modules (VILAS)
- Lecturers from Department of International Business
The information sharing session led by guest speakers from ITL who are experts from the industry, presented a big picture of Logistics industry in Vietnam: opportunities and challenges, industrial trends and future outlook especially E-Commerce Logistics. In addition, the career talk also provided students insightful employability information, essential competency- soft skills and career opportunities at ITL.
The Q&A session was very lively with lots of meaningful questions related to E-Commerce Logistics, skills needed for successful job application in the 4.0 era. Guest speakers from ITL willingly answered all the questions with useful feedbacks. Moreover, students showed a strong interest in the current ITL Management Trainee Program.
