On December 22, 2021, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) solemnly celebrated the 77th Founding Anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2021) and the 32nd Anniversary of All People's National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2021).
Attendees of the celebration were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vuong Duc Hoang Quan - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council; Dr. Tran Trong Dao - Acting President; Colonel Nguyen Tien Loc - Director of the Center for National Defense and Security Education; Heads of functional units; lecturers, staff of the Center for National Defense and Security Education and veterans who are studying and working at TDTU.
At the celebration, the University's leaders and delegates reviewed the glorious history of 77 years of fighting and building of the Vietnam People's Army. University leaders also highly appreciated the spirit of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" of generations of lecturers and staff of the Center for National Defense and Security Education as well as lecturers who are veterans working at the other units of TDTU; At the same time, the University Leaders wish that lecturers and staff will continue to devote themselves to the cause of education, in accordance with the good qualities of a soldier of the People's Army.
The celebration took place in a solemn, warm and proud atmosphere; showing respect for the contributions of officers and soldiers of the People's Army in the defense and construction of the country; as well as contributing to the development of Ton Duc Thang University.
The lecturers, staff, and veterans have also shown their determination to inherit and promote the traditions of the previous generations; joining hands to overcome all difficulties to complete the assigned tasks, contribute to maintaining the achievements and sustainable development of TDTU.
