How to access to capital? How to get a loan with the lack of mortgages? In addition to traditional solutions, is there any other ways to get funding? How can the government’s policies support small and medium enterprises?
In order to answer these questions, ATEM Center (at Ton Duc Thang University) organized a conference with the topic "Solutions for business to effectively access to capital" on March 13th in 2014 , in the International Conference Room A403, at Ton Duc Thang University.
A lot of information has been reported at the conference by the presenters include:
1. Representatives of Departments, Divisions and Boards of Ho Chi Minh City include:
- MSc. Tran Buu Long - Deputy Director of Credit Guarantee Fund in Ho Chi Minh City - introduced the supportive programs of credit consultation and guarantees to help small and medium enterprises to get loans, especially those having difficulty with mortgages.
- Ms. Huynh Luu Thanh Giang - Specialist of Technology Management Division (Department of Science and Technology, Ho Chi Minh City) - introduced the Science and Technology Foundation of Enterprises.
2. Mr. Ha Trong Khiem - Business Director of Military Bank in Ho Chi Minh City - introduced credit packages for enterprises.
3. MSc. Phan Anh Viet - Financial Director of Liksin Corporation, a founding member of ATEM Center - introduced Leasing Back solution to restructure capital in terms of working capital imbalance.
4. Mr. Duong Minh Tuan - Deputy Head of Business Development, Senior Consultant of Risk Management and Insurance - introduced Financial & Risk Management solutions for export credit.
Although the conference was held in a short time but it provided enterprises with more solutions to approach funding. In addition, some enterprises still remained some problems which need solving and ATEM center committed to support them.
