On November 13, 2020, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) signed a cooperation agreement with Tan Cang Human Resources Development Company Limited - STC and Amerasian Shipping Logistics (ASL)
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha - General Director of Tan Cang Human Resource Development Company Limited - STC; Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Lan - Chairman of the Board of Directors cum General Director of ASL together with leading some functional departments of the two companies.
TDTU side has PhD. Vo Hoang Duy - Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Director of Center of Business Cooperation and Alumni; Assoc.Prof.PhD. Pham Thi Minh Ly, Head of Business Administration (Business Administration) and faculty members.
At the signing session, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nha had a detailed discussion with the University about possible cooperation in the near future: organizing exchanges, career orientation for students; receiving TDTU students to visit and practice to develop skills; coordinating with the Faculty of Business Administration to build a business model in the university, ... In particular, STC is ready to transfer the multimodal transport simulation system to TDTU to build a logistics practice room, and at the same time appoint experts. Directly guide students with knowledge of simulation technology, preparing for the construction of the Logistics major of the Faculty of Business Administration.
Ms. Vo Thi Phuong Lan shared: “I really admire TDTU and whenever I go to other universities, I often say that TDTU is a role-model of training skills for students. Professionalism and discipline are students’ advantages when they enter an internship course at the enterprises.”
She said that ASL was willing to support and accompany the Faculty of Business Administration in career orientation activities, accepting students for internships, practice and taking priority for those who graduated from TDTU, towards the same goal to create a high quality human resources for the Logistics industry in Vietnam.
