In the afternoon of November 23, a seminar on "Interviewing and CV writing skills" for International Business students was held at D201.
The speaker of the seminar was Ms. Le Thanh Thuy - Head of SC Department of Decathlon Vietnam. she was the valedictorian of Foreign Trade University, champion of Logistikas 2012 with more than 5 years of experience in management field. In the supply chain industry, she has conveyed a lot of useful and interesting experiences to students in Year 4.
The seminar welcomed the participation of faculty members and nearly 100 students from Year 3 and Year 4 The content of the seminar is as follow:
- Job interviewing process of multinational companies
- Key points in CV and cover letter design
- Tips for phone interview
- Common mistakes in job interviews
During the seminar, students took the initiative to exchange questions with the speaker. At the same time, the speaker presented how to create an impressive CV with a professional portrait, a clear, consistent, well-designed layout without spelling mistakes.
Ms. Thuy emphasized that honesty is an important factor thus integrity is crucial in job application and job interviews.
At the end of the seminar, Ms. Thuy and the students discussed and revised the CV in order to help them apply for the upcoming internship.
