On the morning of October 10, 2025, students majoring in Hospitality Management, Faculty of Business Administration – Ton Duc Thang University, participated in the “Hotel Tour” program at the 5-star Sheraton Saigon Grand Opera, an international brand under the Marriott Group.
The activity aimed to help students experience a professional working environment and gain insights into the operational and management processes of high-end service businesses. Students had the opportunity to hear valuable sharing from Mr. Julian Wong – General Manager, Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Thu – Director of Human Resources, and Ms. Pham Thi Xuan Mai – Assistant Director of Human Resources, about human resource strategies, corporate culture, and sustainable development trends in the hospitality industry.
In addition, students visited key areas such as Li Bai Restaurant, Saigon Café, the gym and swimming pool areas, and international-standard guest rooms, gaining a deeper understanding of the hotel’s history, brand development, and core values.
The tour provided valuable practical experiences, helping students strengthen their professional knowledge, clarify their career orientation, and explore future employment opportunities. This meaningful activity also serves as a bridge between the university and the industry, contributing to the development of high-quality human resources for the hospitality sector.
