On the morning of October 12, 2021, the Faculty of Business Administration organized an online meeting to welcome freshers (K25) and introduce the Faculty to all new undergraduates. This is also an opportunity to present about the University, the Faculty, activities of the Youth Union, the Faculty's Student Union and the Faculty's clubs and teams, meet and greet between undergraduates and alumni to create bondings between students. At the same time, this meeting is to show the support from the Faculty's Dean, Faculty members with Faculty students in general and freshers in particular.
We are honored to have the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly - Dean of Faculty of Business Administration, MSc. Le Duc Nha - Assistant to Dean, Head of Department, Lecturer - Faculty staff and especially the presence of more than 700 new students of Class of 2025. Moreover, joining this event, we welcomed Mr. Nguyen Ky Vong - Alumnus of the Bachelor of International Business, Class of 2014. international business major of Business Administration.
Opening the meeting, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration gave a congratulatory speech and welcomed fresher reviewing the imprints and successes of the Faculty since establishment. At the same time, encourage students to try to adapt and overcome the difficulties and hardships, always make efforts in the process of learning and training, equipping themselves with the necessary knowledge and skills to become competent.
Guest Representative Mr. Nguyen Ky Vong – a successful alumnus with strong experience: 6 years as Product Development Manager at Unilever Vietnam, 1 year as Senior manager of Business Development at Sanofi Indochina and currently an MBA student at Emory University – (Top 20 US universities) shared and oriented new students to better understand the profession and plan for the future career development. He shared on how to grasp the requirements of employers in the current labor market, and at the same time determine the right learning motivation from which to perfect the skills post graduation to be competitive.
Fresher Tran Ha Anh, representing Class 25, shared: "Unlike usual back-to-school season, this year ceremony is still full of pride, I am honored to be admitted to TDTU and a member of the Faculty. The University, the lecturers and staffs and the student supporters who enthusiastically and wholeheartedly welcomed and guided us since the first days of admission. The next four years of university journey will be full of challenges, but we believe that with this support, we will reap many milestones and contribute to the growth of the university as well as the nation".
The program also interweaves cultural performances, games to stir up the atmosphere and partly help freshmen understand important information about the Faculty and the University. In addition, 7 clubs/teams under the Faculty are FMC - Performing Arts Team of Faculty of Business Administration, MIC-BAC - Host Club of Faculty of Business Administration, SBA - Communication Team of Faculty of Business Administration, BAC of Human Resource Management , BAC Restaurant - Hotel Management, BAC International Business, BAC Marketing and Youth - Faculty of Business Administration had a special introduction to the new students and their upcoming plans.
The meeting ended in a joyful and exciting ambience. The Faculty of Business Administration wishes all the students a new academic year with success.
