From June 4 to 18, the Faculty of Business Administration's Student Union organized the Green Summer Volunteering Campaign 2023 at Ham Thuan Nam Hamlet, Binh Thuan Province.
The "Green Summer Campaign" is one of the meaningful activities to promote the role of volunteering, thereby contributing to fostering social work skills and moral education, lifestyle for students. Green Summer Volunteering Campaign has been successfully organized by the Faculty of Business Administration - Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) for many years.
In My Thanh Commune, Ham Thuan Nam Hamlet, the soldiers supported the construction of a house worth more than 80 million VND for families with special needs, concreted more than 500m2 of the school yard, kindergarten and primary school in My Thanh commune with a total value of more than 20 million VND; visited and distributed presents to 20 families; organizied summer activities for more than 100 students and handed over 100 gifts to students with difficulties and overcoming difficulties in studying; to propagate the laws on drug prevention to young people on the occasion of The World Drugs Day; supported local people in planting maize and cassava; planted trees in the protection forest line; cleared bushes and many other activities.
With the spirit of dedication, active pioneering, and youth of TDTU union members in general, Faculty of Business Administration in particular, the participants have brought together meaningful programs and activities to support and help the locals. Activities are conducted flexibly, creatively, in accordance with the actual situation, closely following the direction of all levels and local authorities.
Hopefully, this Summer Volunteering Campaign will leave the students with a lot of experience, a lot of joy and above all, memories of high responsibilities for the society. Students can put on a blue shirt, do meaningful things for the community and keep for themselves the best memories of their youth.
