On May 7, 2023, the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University cooperated with Vietnam Logistics & Aviation School (VILAS) to organize a presentation day for High-quality K24 International Business students to defend their final project. FIATA Diploma (International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations) is an integrated module about freight forwarding service, compulsory in the curriculum of high-quality Bachelor of International Business.
During the 2nd semester of the academic year 2022-2023, students are supported by a mentor and closely supervised by groups to apply theory to solve real-life problems in the field of logistics, multimodal transport and cross-border transport. Every team will write report and defend the topic in front of a panel which consists of industry specialists.
This cohort was mentored by experts and industry representatives from well-recognized enterprises such as Kuehne + Nagel Vietnam, Yes4All, Quanterm Logistics Vietnam, Dongjin Shipping Vietnam, Columbia Sportswear Vietnam, Hoa Phat International Logistics, Lazada Logistics, Contract Logistics, Expeditors Vietnam, FPT Polytechnic and Unilever Vietnam. The jury includes experienced experts from companies such as Transimex, U&I Logistics, Ben Line Agencies - ISO Tank Manager and FDI Co., Ltd.
Students receive comments and evaluations from the jury on professional skills, soft skills, practical experience, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to use foreign languages. By offering a data analysis solution that is closely related to real business operations, students can enhance their employability capabilities and well prepare for a successful career journey.
