Meeting between Department of International Business and Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation

In the morning of 25th September 2019, Department of International Business welcomed and had a meeting with Dr. Albert Tan, Adjunct Professor of Malaysia Institute for Supply Chain Innovation (MISI). Representatives of the department are: Dr. Pham Thi Ngan - Head, Department of International Business; Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh-Lecturer and the participation of Ms. Huynh Nhu Nguyet - CEO of Vietnam Logistics and Aviation School (VILAS).

MISI is a postgraduate training institute on supply chain, established in 2011 as a cooperation between Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Malaysia government. MISI is a member of MIT Global SCALE Network, an international alliance of leading research and education centers dedicated to the development and dissemination of global innovation in supply chain and logistics.

At the meeting, Department of International Business and MISI discussed about extending the logistics and supply chain network of experts for know-how sharing and research collaboration.Moreover, 3 parties - the department, MISI and VILAS look forward to developing short-term courses between Ton Duc Thang University and universities in Malaysia,Singapore and China.
