After 7 months of launching the Campaign to write about COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) with the theme "Overcoming the pandemic, looking towards the future", the number of entries is up to 2,300. The articles honestly recreate the process of preventing and fighting against the COVID-19 epidemic at all levels, the spirit of solidarity of units and organizations and kindness throughout the epidemic. In addition, this activity also showed gratitude and respect for the silence, resilience and dedication of the medical staffs, doctors and nurses at medical facilities.
In the morning of August 8, the Department of Mass Mobilization, the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City jointly organized the closing ceremony and awarding of the Campaign to write about prevention work. , fighting the COVID-19 epidemic in the city.
The organizing committee awarded 36 collectives and 48 individuals with outstanding and typical works. Among them, the Ho Chi Minh City University College Party Committee was honored with a collective encouragement award. In particular, comrade Lieng Kim Lien - Member of the Student Cell of the Economic - Social Block 1 excellently won third prize in the competition.
