On April 11, 2023, at Ton Duc Thang University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Hospitality Management in conjunction with Intercontinental Saigon Hotel held the MOU signing ceremony. Besides, the seminar "Getting ready for your career” was organized for the third and final –year Hospitality students.
Attending the program were the presence of delegates and speakers from Intercontinental Saigon Hotel of IHG Group:
- Ms. Doan Tran Phuong Thao - Human Resources Director of IHG Southern Vietnam & Laos.
- Mr. San Vu Thanh - Head of Training and Quality Management Department.
On the side of Ton Duc Thang University, there were representatives of the Business Administration Faculty:
- Dr. Phung Minh Tuan - Assistant Dean of Faculty of Business Administration.
- MBA. Nguyen Quoc Loc - In charge of the Hospitality Management Department.
The signing ceremony of educational cooperation between the Faculty of Business Administration of Ton Duc Thang University and the Intercontinental Saigon Hotel was solemnly held in the presence of guests, lecturers of Faculty of Business Administration and hospitality management students.
At the ceremony, Mr. San Vu Thanh introduced IHG as a multinational corporation in the hospitality industry and one of the largest hotel groups in the world. In addition, when Ms. Doan Tran Phuong Thao shared her feeling about Ton Duc Thang University, she expressed her impression of TDTU with high training quality compared to the other universities in Viet Nam. Besides, she also recognized TDTU students are extremely active, creative and polite. She also welcomed all students who wish to become future members at IHG group. On behalf of the Faculty of Business Administration, Dr. Phung Minh Tuan expressed his appreciation and did not forget to express his deep gratitude to Intercontinental Saigon hotel and the organizers who help to make the signing ceremony successful and bring various values to the TDTU students.

After the signing ceremony, the talk show "GETTING READY FOR YOUR CAREER" was extremely exciting. Students could listen all valuable sharing from the experts about how to make a CV, how to interview for a job, challenges, difficulties as well as the preparation steps after graduation and internship opportunities. Not only that, the seminar also created conditions for students to receive comments and advice for their CVs and some useful tips for interview such as how to answer some tough questions. Moreover, the talk show helped the students to have a deeper access to knowledge and skills from professional experts. Thereby, the final- year students are more confident about their chosen career path.
