In the afternoon of April 25, 2023, the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University in collaboration with Vietnam Aviation and Logistics School (VILAS) and BAC - International Business Club held a Workshop with the topic: PRE-INTERNSHIP, in order to create opportunities for students to get closer to necessary and practical issues such as internships, job occupations, experienced and integrated environments while the scarcity of human resources are still increasing in the field of Logistics and Global Supply Chain Management. Therefore, this topic has attracted more than 200 students who are interested and come to this sharing session, especially students majoring in International Business.
Throughout the useful sharing session, students had a clearer view of Ton Duc Thang University's internship process and regulations along with an orientation on thinking for them before the internship by Ms.Trinh Thi Ha Huyen.
With valuable experiences in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan – Air Freight Director of U&I Logistics Corporation shared with the students their practical recruitment experiences. Moreover, the guest speaker gives his perspective on the current emerging aspect of whether technology can alternative human resources. Technology can be intelligent, although it cannot completely replace human beings, if students are constantly innovating and developing their own capabilities.
Moving to the next part, Ms. Cao Thi Quynh Giao – CEO – Publisher of Vietnam Shipping Gazette shares her manners, attitudes and ways of working in an international environment, business school and the skills needed to succeed in the Internship program in the 2022 - 2023 summer internship.
In addition, the students also listened to and joined in an exchange session on how to answer questions from interviewer led by Ms. Le Thi Phuong Thanh - Learning. & Development Specialist of U&I Logistics Corporation.
In addition, students majoring in International Business have more understanding of many job search opportunities as well as receive many useful tips from guests from editing CVs and motivating them in career orientation of students majoring in International Business. The actual sharing of the speakers has contributed to motivating you to constantly strive, improve yourself and prepare well, and be more confident in the future.
