During October 5–6, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration – Ton Duc Thang University organized the “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children 2025” program in Long Dinh Commune, Dong Thap Province (formerly Nhi Binh Commune, Chau Thanh District, Tien Giang Province). The event was coordinated by the Faculty’s Youth Union – Student Association, with the participation of faculty members, more than 50 student volunteers, and the warm support of Nhi Binh Primary School.
Lighting up Childhood – Spreading Love
With the desire to bring children in rural areas a joyful and fulfilling Mid-Autumn Festival, the program featured two main activities:
- Fun Fair Area
Six vibrant booths filled with laughter and color – including three traditional folk games – created a lively and friendly festive space. A highlight of the event was the giant lantern decoration activity, where children joyfully painted and crafted their dreams onto colorful lanterns. The dazzling lantern later led the lantern parade during the festival night, symbolizing hope, unity, and affection.
- Sharing Gifts of Love
Over 400 gift sets – including milk, sweets, lanterns, more than 1,500 notebooks, and various school supplies – were delivered to the children. These gifts were not only physical presents but also heartfelt messages of love and encouragement from university students, reminding the children that they deserve a bright and happy childhood.
A Journey of Heartfelt Connection – Where Youth Shines
With the participation of more than 50 student volunteers, the program brought happiness, laughter, and memorable moments to over 400 local children. “Mid-Autumn Festival for Children” was more than just a community outreach activity – it was an opportunity for students to experience social responsibility, develop organizational skills, and, above all, embrace the beauty of humanity and compassion.
The Faculty of Business Administration sincerely thanks the local authorities, the Board of Nhi Binh Primary School, all faculty members, and students for their wholehearted collaboration in creating such a meaningful Mid-Autumn celebration.
The shining lanterns of the festival night not only illuminated the path of childhood but also lit a spark of kindness, connection, and hope in every heart that took part.
