On November 21st, 2023, at Ton Duc Thang University, James Cook University (Singapore) and the Faculty held a seminar entitled: "Management in Cross-cultural context".
Attending the ceremony, on the side of James Cook University (Singapore) were Dr. Adrian Bradshaw – Lecturer of College of Business, Law and Governance; Ms. Vong Ngoc Van Anh (Julia), In Country Representative Recruitment & Partnerships (Vietnam). On the side of the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University, there were Dr. Phung Minh Tuan – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, and lecturers in charge of international cooperation of the Faculty.
The seminar aimed to provide FBA’s students with opportunities to access and exchange updated knowledge and skills from high ranking universities in the world, at the same time reinforce the knowledge of management in cross-cultural context. In addition, the seminar belongs to a series of practical activities that did and will happen in terms of collaboration between Ton Duc Thang University and James Cook University Singapore.
Speaking at the seminar opening, Dr. Phung Minh Tuan – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration expressed confidence for the potential of cooperation between the two sides, based on the existing strengths as well as the development orientation of each university. He also emphasized the importance of cross-cultural management knowledge, which is necessary for FBA’s students as global citizens.
