On December 18, 2021, the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the talk show "Hospitality – The untold story during the pandemic".

The content of the talk show revolved around the issues that are of great interest to hospitality industry in general and the Restaurant - Hotel sector in particular in the"new normal" period.
The real situation of the Restaurant and Hospitality segment was truthfully stated by the participants about the difficulties, challenges and long-term solutions, thereby providing the students further understanding of the industry.
At the event, the speaker Nguyen Hung Hao sent a message to students: " Have faith in the health sector and hospitality industry, it will return to normal. Why don't you consider this as an opportunity?". Besides, the speaker Nguyen Thi Thanh Trang reminded the students that: "Although the recruitment process is more difficult, as long as we try hard and not give up. That will make us stronger.”
In addition, speaker Doan Xuan Son also has useful advice for students on foreign languages: "English is the basic key to get a stable job in a hotel or in a large corporation”. Therefore, you should prepare the "suffering, hard work" mentality to improve foreign language skills and specialized knowledge.
Throughout the event, the hosts and guests enthusiastically answered the questions raised by the students, especially the third and fourth year students in orienting their future career or the recruitment process in the "new normal".
The truthful sharing of the hosts has contributed to motivating the students to constantly strive, improve themselves and prepare well, and be more confident in the future path.
