At 8:30 AM, October 2, 2021, nearly 300 students of the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) attended the talkshow "How to win over recruiters: Personal branding, CV and Interview" which was held online by the Faculty of Business Administration in collaboration with the Windsor Estate Management Corporation (WMC Group).
Speakers attended:
- Ms. Nguyen Hong Tham - Human Resources Director of The Reverie Saigon Hotel;
- Mr. Le Minh An – Human Resources Supervisor of WMC Group;
- Ms. Le Vo Hoang Tram – Human Resources Supervisor of the Reverie Saigon;
- Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Lien
- Mr. Nguyen Quang Thinh – Human Resources Executive of WMC Group.
The talkshow provided audiences with the necessary skills to win over recruiters such as: CV writing skills, confidence when answering interviews, impressing employers, building your brand... With the experience of being Human Resources Director, Ms. Hong Tham shared precious advices on tips to have a better preparation for a successful interview: "When talking about your weakness in an interview, I advise you to cleverly choose a certain weak point that doesn't have a great influence on position you are applying for, or trying to indicate that this weakness is also one of your strength in a different perspective". The speakers also shared with students about the realistic and objective perspectives on the employers' human resources issues, especially in the "new normal".
On this occasion, the students had the opportunity to express their concerns, raise questions to the speakers and receive enthusiastic answers through various perspectives from the guests. Those interesting stories and thoughtful experience has contributed to motivate and inspire students in how to constantly strive and prepare for their career development in both domestic and international labour market.
The talkshow ended successfully, and students from the Faculty of Business Administration received lots of meaningful information about the career in Hospitality industry.
