THE DISCUSSION WITH STUDENTS ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM AND GUIDANCE FOR THE PROFESSIONAL INTERSHIP REPORT
On the morning of July 8, 2017, the International Business Department held a discussion with first year high-quality students about the internship program as well as providing them with the guidance for the internship report. Participants include:

- ThS. Nguyen Thi Phuong Dung, Trainee Lecturer, International Business Department
- High-quality students (Classes 16070610, 16070611, 16070612).
Students shared their opinions and feelings about their first professional internship in their student lives. Some of them were still confused, and did not know how to communicate well with the employees at the companies. Many students were still shy; however, their supervisors were very open to instruct them and make them feel comfortable and confident. In addition, other students were active learners, easily earned trust from employees, and were given more tasks to do. A lot of companies have positive feedback about their professional internship programs like VPBank, SOTRANS, Nha Be Garment Corporation... However, a few companies did not offer them opportunities to gain valuable working experience during the internship. Their opinions were well-noted, and based on these useful comment, the department will try to organize a better internship program for them next year.
Pham Thi Ngan, PhD. shared with them some plans about the upcoming internship program. The Department aims to hire a professional head hunting company so that students have a chance to intern at big companies. On top of that, The Department considers to sign contracts with companies to ensure companies have detailed internship programs that meets the requirements of the Department.
