On November 29, 2019, at the 6B meeting hall (Ton Duc Thang University) the final round of the Hospitality Spirit contest was held successfully with much intensiveness and excitement from 400 students of Faculty of Business Administration, especially Hospitality Management major.
Hospitality Spirit 2019 aims at both academic and applied practice in hospitality industry. After more than 10 months with many challenges, TOP 4 in the finals were revealed: Flamingo, DDAT, Lightstone, and Warrior.
In this Final Gala Night, the Organizing Committee is honored to welcome:
- Mr. Hong Quoc Viet – General Manager, SANT Việt Nam.
- Mr. Nguyen Hung Ho – Sales Manager, Grand Palace.
- Ms. Phan Thi Ngoc Bich – Human Resources, Holiday Inn & Suite Saigon Airport.
- Mr. Juan Costa Ribas – Deputy General Manager, Dong Phuong Group.
Besides, the contest was also sponsored by SANT Vietnam, Dong Phuong Group, Grand Palace, Holiday Inn & Suite Saigon Airport and Alagon Saigon Hotel.
Especially the participants from the Faculty of Business Administration:
- Ph.D. Pham Thi Minh Ly - Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.
- Mr. Le Duc Nha - Assistant to the Dean, Faculty of Business Administration.
- Mr. Nguyen Quang Tien - Head, Department of Hospitality Management.
In the finale, TOP 4 showed off their talents in solving hospitality-restaurant related situation as well as their soft skill ability to through 2 tough rounds. All teams heated up the atmosphere with strong engagement from audiences and convinced the jury with their performances.
Four rounds with four different themes with different perspectives, TOP 4 showed the audience that they deserve to be the finalists in this competition. Hospitality Spirit 2019 contest gave its crown to team DDAT for its outstanding efforts throughout the journey and great impression to the judges.
After more than 2 months, Hospitality Spirit 2019 has officially ended successfully. The organizing committee would like to thank for the ultimate support from the University, Faculty of Business Administration and sponsors.
