THE SESSION OF PRACTICAL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE SHARING THEME: “THE MAINSTREAM TRENDS OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE – OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES”

Designed in the curriculum of International Business Major, the session of practical professional experience sharing aims at creating a forum for academic and practical knowledge exchange between high-quality program’s students, academics, researchers and enterprises including domestic and foreign ones in the field of international business. This is considered as a significantly meaningful educational activity especially in the age of economic globalization and competing by labor productivity. Thanks to this activity, high-quality program’s students will have more opportunities to consolidate and expand academic knowledge while enhancing the application capability of professional skills in the future career’s operational practice.
Succeeding the achievements of previous sessions, the session on “The mainstream trends of International Trade – Opportunities and Challenges” collaboratively celebrated by the Faculty of Business Administration and Vietnam Logistics Institute (VLI) focuses on the crucial topics of current interest which have high applicability concerning economic globalization, global supply chain management, e-commerce and entrepreneurship. The guest lecturer of the session is Mr. Nguyen Quang Thanh, researcher of VLI, instructor in charge of the FIATA Logistics Diploma training program and Deputy General Director of Hoang Ha International Logistics.
At the session, students of high-quality program listened to the knowledge and experience shared by guest expert, asked questions and received answers concerning professional knowledge and practical experience in business and entrepreneurship activities in the field of foreign trade management and international logistics. Besides, the session also honorably received the concern and participation of Dr. Pham Thi Ngan, Head of International Business Department for the knowledge consolidation and academic consultation with students.
The session ended with the Q&A part. In this part of the session, students were encouraged to express their current difficulties facing in learning activities and permanently existing concerns about future career path to the guest lecturer. All of their questions raised were thoroughly and conscientiously heard by the guest speakers and be comprehensively and radically solved under the guidance of the guest lecturer. Also, some practical situations were suggested by the guest lecturer attracted the enthusiastic participation of students at the session on the basis of theoretical knowledge educated in class and through learning materials.
