On the morning of November 28th 2021, the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) cooperated with U.S Meat Export Federation to complete an online course for students interested in "U.S Meat CULINARY Application" for 4 days. The course was held on the ZOOM CLOUD MEETINGS platform and received much attention from most students studying in TDTU. The program also had the presence of Tran Le Thanh Thien Speaker- Vice-President of Vietnam SuperChef World Association.
The main content of this course revolved around the useful knowledge of American meat that was broadened for students majoring in Hospitality Management in TDTU as well as students having a consuming passion.During the course, Tran Le Thanh Thien Chef- Vice-President of Vietnam SuperChef Association, shared practical ways of classifying, herding and providing quality assurance for beef to develop the American Red meat export market, as well as introducing the preparation delicious food from American beef and pork. Hence the course not only helped the students expand their horizons about American meats and production processes, but also improved on practical skills, especially the ability to apply materials to the Hospitality field. In addition to knowledge about pork and beef, students also learn how to prepare dishes from these meats, such as grilled beef ribs with pear sauce, steamed American pork ribs with Chinese soy sauce, fried beef tenderloin with spicy sauce and braised pork belly with taro.
After four days of the event, the course finished successfully with devoted sharing from speakers, the top-notch professionals for service industries, as well as receiving enthusiastic questions about the material applications from graduates. The course provided lots of information on both practical and theoretical aspects. It was also an opportunity to help the Hospitality Management students particularly, and the students at the TDTU to interact and communicate directly with speakers so that they can acquire more useful information about American meats.In addition, upon completing all sessions of the course, students are given a free certificates for completing the training sessions.As a result, the students acquire more useful knowledge and skills as well as certificate to prepare their belongings entering the labor market in the future.
