On the Sep 08th, 2018 morning, in the progress of the Vietnam Young Logistics Talents 2018 competition of the Vietnam Logistics Training Network, the Import-Export Department- Ministry of Industry and Trade in collaboration with Vietnam Logistics Training Network was organized the Information Day for "Vietnam Young Logistics Talents 2018" competition at 6B Hall Ton Duc Thang University. The purpose of the Information Day was to provide more information and knowledge about Logistics and announced the "Vietnam Young Logistics Talents 2018" contest for students nationwide.
Attending the Information Day, A number of representatives from the businesses as well as the joint ventures as sponsors of the "Vietnam Young Logistics Talents 2018" competition: U & I Logistics Company, Ratraco Railways Transportation and Trading Joint Stock Company, Tan Cang Logistics Service Center , Delta International, Unidepot, Henkel Adhesive Technologies Vietnam Ltd, Vietnam Logistics and Aviation School, and more than 500 students from Ton Duc Thang University and 12 universities in Ho Chi Minh City.
To begin the program, Mr. Tran Chi Dung expressed: "This is the first time Vietnam Young Talent Contest has been held nationwide and has close cooperation between the Import-Export Department- the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the network of universities and colleges which is training logistics." The purpose of the contest is to create a platform for students in the Logistics industry and some sectors across the country to exchange, learn and share knowledge related to the specific requirements for human resource development in the logistics industry, optimization solutions in the logistics industry, e-commerce, application of technology 4.0, etc... The competition will undoubtedly bring useful knowledge from the reality of logistics activities, thereby helping businesses to discover and select talents. At present, over 1,000 students from 20 universities and colleges nationwide register to participate in the contest; the number will surely increase higher in the coming days.
After that, the talk show of the day took place in a severe atmosphere with useful information coming from the speakers. Finally, there is a dynamic and meaningful Q & A session between representatives from business and students and the launch of the Vietnam Young Logistics Talents 2018 contest.
