Workshop: " Stakeholder Engagement in International Business Curriculum Improvement"

For the continuous improvement of the training program, Department of International Business, Faculty of Business Administration organized an online workshop "Stakeholder Engagement in International Business Curriculum Improvement" on October 26 and 27, 2021.

The workshop welcomed the participation of Mr. Tran Chi Dung - Head of Training Department - The Vietnam Association for Logistics Manpower Development (VALOMA), Head of Technology - Innovation Department, Vietnam Logistics  Association (VLA); Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ha Thi Ngoc Oanh - Former Head of International Business Department, Hoa Sen University; Dr. Dinh Le Hai Ha - Deputy Director, Institute of International Trade and Economics, National Economics University, Member of Training Committee of The Vietnam Association for Logistics Manpower Development (VALOMA);  Candidate. Nguyen Thi Tuong Vy - Lecturer of International Business, HCMC University of Banking ; MSc. Trinh Huynh Quang Canh - Lecturer at University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH); Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thuc - Vice President, Human Resources, ITL Group; Ms. Huynh Nhu Nguyet - Managing Director, Vietnam School of Aviation and Logistics; Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Internal Training Manager, Head of Air Cargo Development Department - Bee Logistics Company; MSc. Dang Minh Truc - Director of IM/EX Customer Care Department - OOCL Logistics Vietnam; MSc. Quang Le Trong Bang - Supply Chain Manager - Cargill Vietnam Company; MSc. Dinh Bang Tam - Regional Director of 4PL- A.P Moller- Maersk Group; MSc. Ta Hong Hai Ha - Sucafina Vietnam; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly – Dean of Faculty; Dr. Pham Thi Ngan – Head of International Business Department; Lecturers in International Business and alumni of International Business degree.

The workshop revolved around discussing and contributing ideas to improve training programs, expected learning outcomes, teaching subjects in order to improve the quality of teaching International Business to  make it more relevant and practical to serve the needs of employers from the labour market. 

In addition, the seminar discussed issues related to collaborative training offerings between enterprises and  the University, the exchange activities between alumni and students, to reach the AACSB standards that the Faculty is pursuing (Association for the Advancement of Collegiate Business Teaching).

Thanks to this workshop, the Faculty and enterprises had discussed the issues that need to be adjusted as well as proposed appropriate solutions for the training program upgrade and development in the near future.
