To provide students from the Bachelor of Business Administration, specializing in Hospitality Management with a comprehensive overview and satisfy their curiosity, on October 25, 2024, the Faculty in collaboration with Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon, organized a field trip as part of the Faculty’s experiential learning program, helping students engage with a professional working environment and industry experts, equipping them with a solid foundation for the future.
The students were welcomed and guided by Mr. Tran Hai Dang, Training Manager of Renaissance Hotel. He gave an overview of how experts operate a high-end hotel and shared his multidisciplinary experiences. Additionally, Mr. Dang provided valuable information about Renaissance Riverside Hotel Saigon and emphasized the importance of professionalism and dedication in every service aspect at the hotel in particular, and in the hospitality industry in general.
Besides learning from Mr. Dang and touring the hotel, the student group also had the opportunity to meet other managers and have their questions answered regarding the challenges and job opportunities in their future careers. They also gained insights into the persistence needed when choosing Hospitality as their career path. The tour to Renaissance Hotel brought practical value to the Hospitality Management students with an opportunity for hands-on learning but also an important stepping stone for future career development, demonstrating the University's commitment to training dynamic, creative, and globally ready students.
