On May 14, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) formally hosted a working session with the delegation from César Ritz Colleges Switzerland, reflecting a strong mutual commitment to promoting international collaboration in education, research, and academic exchange.
During the meeting, the two institutions reached a consensus on several strategic areas of cooperation:
- Development of a joint Bachelor-level training programme;
- Co-organisation of academic research projects, publications, and professional conferences;
- Implementation of student exchange programmes, internships, and cultural exchange activities;
- Organisation of capacity-building programmes for faculty and staff in Switzerland;
- Facilitation of inbound student mobility for César Ritz international students to study and practise at TDTU.
The César Ritz delegation included:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jorge Arnanz – Campus Dean;
- Mr. John Daly – Academic Director for the Asia-Pacific Region;
- Mr. Erik Hai Nguyen – Vietnam Country Manager, Swiss Education Group;
- Ms. Phuong Chu – Executive Director, Laurel Consult;
- Ms. Tran Le Ngoc Han – Business Development Executive, Laurel Consult.
Representatives from Ton Duc Thang University included:
- Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau – Vice President;
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly – Vice Chairwoman of the University Council, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration;
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach – Director of the Institute for Cooperation, Research and International Training (INCRETI);
- Dr. Phung Minh Tuan – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.
Following the formal session, the delegates engaged in commemorative photography and toured the TDTU campus. This event marked a significant milestone in the partnership between TDTU and César Ritz Colleges Switzerland, advancing the development of high-quality academic programmes that meet the demands of international integration in the field of Hospitality Management.
