On February 26, with the participation of teachers and lecturers of the Faculty of Business Administration, especially Assoc. Prof.Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly, Ms. Tran Thi My Phuong shared a new research direction on the issue of planned resilience, adaptive resilience, and enterprise performance on sustainable tourism development. This is an interesting topic and has received a lot of attention in the scientific world with further research directions.
The final results suggest the policy-makers and owners-managers that small tourism and/or hospitality enterprises need to be firmly placed on the national agenda and national priorities of developing countries; Governmental support and relief programs are crucial to support the quick recovery of small tourism enterprises after the crises, consequently contributing to sustainable tourism development; Governmental non-financial (e.g. various training programs on strategic planning, business recovery, psychological handling of crises) should be provided for small tourism enterprises; Owner-managers of small hospitality should lay more emphasis on strategic planning to develop appropriate planned resilience
The academic session ended after a lively discussion between the teachers and lecturers on the topic above to accumulate specific knowledge and improve their scientific research skills.
