Professor Young-Chan Lee shared his academic research experience to faculty members

In order to improve the scientific research and international publication capability, on January 10, 2020, the Faculty of Business Administration, Ton Duc Thang University organized an academic sharing session, led by Professor Young-Chan Lee, Head of Gyeongbuk Policy Institute - Dongguk University-Korea.

The sharing session received interests of many lecturers across disciplines: International Business, Marketing, Management, Human Resource Management and Hospitality Management.

At the sharing session, Prof. Lee Young-Chan shared with the faculty members his experiences in selecting research topics and research methods to increase the chance of publication given the current context and competitiveness, as well as the characteristics of the socio-economic sector. Prof. Lee Young-Chan introduced many new research methods and models that are particularly useful in decision making, analysis, evaluation especially relevant to service quality which is difficult to measure by traditional research methods and models. Research methods such as AHP (Analytical HierarchY Process) applied in evaluation and selection, DEA (data envelopment analysis) in assessing business activities has opened up new directions in research for young scholars.

In addition, Prof. Lee Young-Chan and the faculty members also had a fruitful discussion related to scientific research and experience in inspiring students to learn especially for the subject of  research methods in business. Professor Lee's experience in teaching-training and research is of great significance, motivating faculty members to cultivate and innovate to achieve more rewarding outcomes in both learning and self-development that contribute greatly to the student learning progress.
