At 14:00 on December 22, 2023, in Hall A0403, The Faculty of Business Administration successfully organized a seminar entitled "Transitioning to Sales Excellence – An Academic Guide," featuring Professor Lam Kim Son from the University of Georgia, USA. Professor Lam Kim Son is a leading global scientist in the field of Sales, contributing significantly with numerous impactful research studies over the past two decades. He has also received multiple prestigious awards for his substantial contributions and serves on the editorial boards of major marketing science journals.
The event was warmly welcomed with the presence of various participants, including:
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly – Dean, Faculty of Business Administration; Vice Chairman of the University Council.
- Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hoa – Chairman of the TDTU Union.
- Dr. Phung Minh Tuan – Vice Dean, Faculty of Business Administration.
- Over 50 related enterprises from various Departments, Institutes, and Offices.
- Esteemed faculty members from various Departments, Institutes, and Offices.
- More than 100 students from Ton Duc Thang University.
During the seminar, Prof. Lam Kim Son not only shared his most significant research findings but also provided insights and practical experiences for businesses. He adeptly addressed questions from the business sector regarding sales and sales management, combining a scientific approach with a touch of humor in his presentation. Businesses were particularly interested in topics such as "Salesperson often intentionally avoid big whale opportunities" and "Building an effective Gen Z sales team."
To conclude the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Minh Ly, representing Ton Duc Thang University, presented flowers, gifts, and a commemorative to Prof. Lam Kim Son. She expressed deep gratitude for his contributions and dedication, which have brought great honor to the intellectual community of Vietnam. Lastly, she conveyed a heartfelt message to the respected faculty members and students in the hall: "In the next 10 or 20 years, I hope that you, who are present in this hall today, will also proudly stand here as exemplary Vietnamese scientists, just like Prof. Lam Kim Son."
